Westpac New Zealand is seeking a role focused on governance, reporting and engagement across its payment services. The successful candidate will coordinate industry participation, manage obligations, and monitor regulatory changes to ensure continuity and resilience across payment rails.

The role requires experience in payments, strong analytical capability, and superb stakeholder communication to support change initiatives and executive decision making.

Qualificações

• Experience in domestic payments, transaction banking, or related financial services.
• Understanding of payment methods, clearing and settlement arrangements.
• Knowledge of payment-system rules, standards and regulatory obligations.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate day-to-day industry engagement, governance and reporting for payment services.
• Represent Westpac in industry forums and drive process improvements across payment domains.
• Monitor industry and regulatory changes and coordinate impact assessments.
• Manage industry obligations including attestations, scheme requirements and regulatory reporting.
• Provide cross-domain payments expertise and support across payment types.
