Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is seeking an Orderly - Security for Nelson Hospital. This permanent part-time role (0.80 FTE) covers 64 hours per fortnight, Tue–Fri, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.
You will move patients and supplies, maintain a courteous and professional service, and work with clinical and non-clinical teams to support patient care. The team of about 18 staff values integrity, innovation, respect and teamwork, with training provided.

As an Orderly - Security, you will play an important role in supporting patient care by ensuring the safe and timely movement of patients, equipment, specimens, and supplies throughout the hospital. You will provide a courteous, professional, and responsive service while working closely with clinical and non‑clinical teams.

As an Orderly, you will be an excellent communicator who is passionate about delivering a quality service.
Previous experience as an Orderly, Security Officer, Porter, Hotel Porter, Healthcare Assistant, or in a customer service environment would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
