NZME New Zealand is seeking an energetic Outbound Telesales Consultant in Auckland. This part-time role runs 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, focusing on growing newspaper subscriptions across NZME’s trusted publications.

You will build rapport with customers, tailor offers, and drive sales while contributing to a values-driven media brand. Training, incentives, and career growth opportunities accompany a flexible, targeted sales environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in telesales, customer service or a contact centre environment.
• Confidence communicating over the telephone.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to tailor your pitch.
• Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Call past, cancelled and prospective subscribers with compelling offers.
• Educate customers on subscription options and their benefits.
• Support marketing-led sales campaigns and promotions.
• Cross-sell and upsell NZME products where relevant.
• Resolve basic customer queries and escalated issues when needed.
• Accurately process sales and update customer records.
• Use performance data to refine your approach and hit targets.
• Collaborate closely with your team to share insights and lift results.
