Job summary

Equinox IT in New Zealand is seeking a Delivery Lead to guide IT projects with a strong people focus. You’ll move from sprint reviews to steering groups, balancing waterfall and agile approaches, and steer a cross‑functional team of consultants across client engagements.

You’ll manage end‑to‑end delivery, mentor colleagues, run work in Jira/Azure DevOps/Confluence, track budgets, and write clear plans and reports.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading IT projects or product ownership roles
• Solid understanding of waterfall and agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Jira and/or Azure DevOps
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Excellent report and business writing skills
• Strong financial acumen

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end IT projects across client engagements
• Direct IT consultants and specialists toward clear outcomes
• Run work transparently using Jira, Azure DevOps and Confluence
• Champion good practices to help teams deliver consistently
• Build trusted relationships with client sponsors and stakeholders
• Track budgets, forecasts and commercials with confidence
• Write clear, compelling reports, plans and business documents
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing
