Job summary

Hilton – DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka is seeking a proactive Part-Time Human Resources Coordinator to support our People & Performance function in Auckland, New Zealand. This role offers flexibility while staying involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

You will provide first-line HR support, coordinate recruitment and onboarding, and assist with engagement, performance management, and HR administration across the hotel. Strong MS Office and English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in human resources and administrative.
• Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Employment Legislation knowledge a benefit but not essential.
• Proficient in English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR support to Team Members and Managers, coordinate recruitment activities, including advertising, screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding along with coordinating orientation, training programmes and learning initiatives.
• Engagement activities: Assist with Team Member engagement, recognition, and wellbeing activities, Support performance management and people-related projects and assist with reporting, audits, and HR administration across the hotel.
• Support daily administration: Provide administrative support to the HR manager including payroll, updating records, processing recruitment and termination documentation and other ad hoc duties such as health & safety meetings.
• Manage communication: Handle phone calls, emails, mail processing, and meeting coordination in collaboration with other departments
