Job summary

NZCL is seeking energetic and motivated individuals to support people in their own homes in Hamilton. You will help clients live fulfilling lives, accompany them to activities, and encourage learning new skills.

The role is part-time with 5 guaranteed hours per week, most shifts after 3 pm. A valid NZ work permit or residency and a full driver’s license with own vehicle are essential.

Qualifications

• NZ resident or valid NZ work permit required.
• Full driver's license with own vehicle essential.
• Experience in healthcare preferred, including youth support.

Responsibilities

• Support people in their home and community to achieve personal goals.
• Help clients engage in activities like swimming, sports, arts and crafts, movies, or shopping.
• Promote empathy, respect and safety in daily support.
