Radius Care in Tauranga is seeking an Activities Coordinator for a part-time position (20 hours per week, negotiable shifts). You will organize and run person-centred activity programmes, develop individual resident plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide engaging activities within budget.

Ideal candidates have prior experience as an activities coordinator or diversional therapist, with excellent people skills and a flexible, proactive approach.

Competenze

• Must have a relevant recognized qualification preferred.
• Experience working with the elderly and their families is desirable.
• Flexible, patient, motivated and a strong communicator.
• Efficient time management and reliable team collaborator.
• A clean full driver’s license is required.

Mansioni

• Support residents with social activities, diary planning and personal calendars.
• Work with the MDT to formulate individual activity plans for residents.
• Liaise with the team to ensure a variety of activities are brought into the facility.
• Work within budgeted parameters.
