Job summary

Radius Care is a New Zealand owned health and aged care provider. This full-time Healthcare Assistant role in Tauranga involves delivering high-quality resident care under a Registered Nurse guidance, fostering meaningful relationships, and supporting care plans. Training will be provided.

You’ll work as part of a team in a setting that values safety, dignity and resident independence, with a rostered schedule including weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have NZ health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent
• Excellent communication with residents and families
• Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 roster including weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support under RN guidance
• Build relationships with residents and families
• Assist with care plans and documentation
• Maintain accurate health records and handover information
• Support dementia care as trained
