Bon Accord Products in New Zealand is seeking a dependable Packing & Production Operator for our Avondale team. In this fast-paced role, you’ll pack, check, label finished products and prepare units for palletising, with opportunities to train across packaging equipment and production processes.

Qualifications

• Practical experience in packing, food manufacturing, warehousing, or production environments.
• Strong attention to detail with confidence verifying codes, labels, numbers and weights.
• A high standard of punctuality, safety awareness and work ethic.
• A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to learn different parts of the factory process.

Responsibilities

• Packing & Preparation: Pack finished products into cartons, confirm correct quantities, seal, label and prepare units for palletising and transfer.
• Quality Assurance: Verify product labels, batch codes, pack configurations, and bag seals; perform weight checks at required intervals.
• Traceability & Compliance: Complete production and quality paperwork accurately in real time; uphold strict food safety and line-clearance standards.
• Line Cleanliness: Maintain clean, organized workstations and handle efficient line changeovers between production runs.
• Team Collaboration: Flag quality issues immediately and support wider factory tasks as trained.
