Job summary

Rydges Auckland is seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to oversee the overnight hotel operations from 11pm to 7am. This full-time role requires delivering exceptional guest service, handling front desk duties, and performing the nightly audit.

You will work 40 hours per week, with a focus on accuracy, discretion, and seamless communication with the Night Manager and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience in a vibrant CBD hotel.

Qualifications

• Experience in front office or night audit roles is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in hotel systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must have current New Zealand working rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome and farewell to guests.
• Efficiently manage check-in/check-out and process guest transactions.
• Complete the night audit and reconcile daily revenue accurately.
• Respond promptly and empathetically to guest requests and complaints.
• Maintain communication with the Night Manager and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and WHS standards.
