Job summary

Rydges Auckland is hiring a Night Auditor to manage the overnight front desk and perform the nightly audit. This full-time role runs 11pm to 7am, with a 40-hour week, based in Auckland CBD. You will deliver guest service, handle check-ins/outs, and support revenue reconciliation.

Ideal candidates have prior front office or night audit experience, strong financial accuracy, and excellent communication. NZ working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in front office or night audit roles (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in hotel systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must have current New Zealand working rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome and farewell to guests.
• Efficiently manage check-in/check-out and process guest transactions.
• Complete the night audit and reconcile daily revenue accurately.
• Respond promptly and empathetically to guest requests and complaints.
• Maintain communication with the Night Manager and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and WHS standards.

Position Overview:

The Night Auditor ensures the smooth and secure overnight operation of the hotel, delivering exceptional guest service while managing front desk duties and completing the nightly audit process. This role supports our commitment to providing experiences that go beyond expectations.
