Job summary

Rydges Auckland is seeking a Night Auditor for a full-time overnight role, starting at 11pm and finishing at 7am. You will manage front desk tasks, complete nightly auditing, and ensure smooth overnight operations in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Ideal candidates have front office or night audit experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent guest service skills. NZ working rights are required, with benefits including parking and EVT hotel discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in front office or night audit roles (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial tasks.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in hotel systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Must have current New Zealand working rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm and professional welcome and farewell to guests.
• Efficiently manage check-in/check-out and process guest transactions.
• Complete the night audit and reconcile daily revenue accurately.
• Respond promptly and empathetically to guest requests and complaints.
• Maintain communication with the Night Manager and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and WHS standards.
