Job summary

If you enjoy outdoor work and take pride in craftsmanship, you will be involved in formwork, decking, fences, pergolas, and retaining walls. The position offers ongoing training, and relocation support if needed, with potential for permanent employment after the initial period.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Carpenter, Landscape Construction Professional, or similar trade background.
• Ability to read plans and accurately interpret measurements.
• Proven experience with timber construction and outdoor structures.
• Experience with concrete formwork and/or concrete finishing is highly desirable.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow plans, drawings, and site instructions
• Measure, cut, and install timber formwork/boxing for concrete paths, driveways, garden edging, and structural foundations
• Measure, cut, and install timber to construct outdoor structures including fences, screens, pergolas, and retaining wall framing
• Prepare and assemble formwork for concrete pours
• Construct sub-frames and install decking, seating, stairs, and balustrades
• Assist with pouring, screeding, and finishing concrete
• Safely operate hand and power tools
• Follow company health and safety policies
• Work collaboratively with team to deliver projects to a high standard
