Westpac New Zealand is seeking a carpenter/landscape construction professional for long-term temporary work in Marlborough region (Blenheim). You will contribute to decking, fencing, retaining structures and outdoor amenities, reading plans and building to high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Carpenter or landscape construction professional.
• Ability to read plans and interpret measurements.
• Proven timber construction and outdoor structure experience.
• Strong work ethic and safety focus; willing to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow plans, drawings, and site instructions.
• Measure, cut, and install timber formwork for paths, driveways, edges.
• Construct outdoor structures: fences, screens, pergolas, retaining walls.
• Prepare formwork for concrete pours.
• Assemble sub-frames and install decking, stairs, balustrades.
• Assist with pouring, screeding, finishing concrete.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Adhere to health and safety policies.
• Collaborate with team to deliver high-quality projects.
