Job summary

Bapcor in Marlborough, New Zealand, is looking for a skilled Carpenter or Experienced Landscaper to join the Construction Team and deliver high-quality outdoor infrastructure and landscape projects. This long-term, temporary role offers potential permanency for the right candidate and involves decking, fencing, formwork, and other landscape constructions across diverse sites.

You will read plans, measure and cut timber, install timber structures, and safely operate hand and power tools while

Qualifications

Experience as a Carpenter or Landscape Construction professional.
Ability to read plans and interpret measurements.
Proven timber construction experience and outdoor structures.
Experience with concrete formwork or finishing is desirable.
Strong work ethic and commitment to quality workmanship.
Good fitness and ability to work outdoors.
Team-oriented and safety-focused.
Full driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

Read and follow plans, drawings, and site instructions.
Measure, cut, and install timber formwork/boxing for concrete paths and foundations.
Construct outdoor structures including fences, screens, pergolas, and retaining walls.
Prepare formwork for concrete pours.
Install decking, seating, stairs, balustrades.
Assist with pouring, screeding, and finishing concrete.
Safely operate hand and power tools.
Follow health and safety policies.
Work with team to deliver high-quality projects.
