Peninsula in New Zealand is expanding its Health & Safety leadership team to support trusted advisory services across the ANZ region. You will guide a high-performing group, drive performance through KPIs, and ensure quality in client assessments and risk management documentation.

The role requires strong NZ H&S knowledge, exceptional stakeholder engagement, and the ability to travel across New Zealand to meet clients and deliver service improvements.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead and develop a team of Health & Safety Consultants and Advisors, providing coaching, mentoring and day-to-day operational support.
• Drive performance by managing workloads, KPIs, service standards and assessment completion timeframes.
• Review and quality assure client assessments, reports, action plans and risk management documentation.
• Partner with the Head of Health & Safety NZ to support workforce planning, team development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Travel across New Zealand when required to attend client meetings, support service delivery and strengthen stakeholder relationships.

We're looking for:

• Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership or management role.
• Strong working knowledge of New Zealand Health & Safety legislation and best practice frameworks.
• A recognised Health & Safety qualification and a passion for developing high-performing teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance client needs, compliance requirements and business objectives.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative and solutions-focused approach with a genuine passion for helping clients succeed.
