Job summary

Higgins Palmerston North is seeking a motivated Concrete Placer to join our team. The role involves preparing, placing and finishing concrete to a high standard across the region, including kerb and channel work.

You will operate small plant safely and support general construction activities in a collaborative crew. We offer a permanent, full-time role with guaranteed 40 hours per week, a competitive hourly rate, KiwiSaver employer contribution up to 4%, and opportunities to upskill and gain

Qualifications

• Experience preparing and finishing concrete.
• Experience laying concrete kerb & channel.
• Knowledge of standard methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in concrete construction and maintenance.
• Full and clean Class 1 licence – Class 2 with WTR endorsements is an advantage.
• Physically fit, reliable, and punctual.
• Willingness to work flexible hours – our business operates Monday to Sunday.
• A positive attitude and commitment to working safely.
