Job summary

Te Kāhu Tiu in Reikorangi Valley is seeking an Operations Manager to keep the programme running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring compliance, safety and financial administration while building scalable systems for growth.

You will work closely with the Programme Director, support the Board on governance and work directly with Drivers and Peer Support Workers, drawing on external specialists as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience across at least two areas: operational administration, compliance or quality assurance, health and safety, HR and people management, finance oversight, or grant writing.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Experience working with external stakeholders, contractors, funders or government agencies.
• Confidence using business systems and cloud platforms such as Xero.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations ensuring compliance, safety, and financial administration.
• Lead governance support with the Board and interact with regulators and funders.
• Directly manage Drivers and Peer Support Workers and coordinate external specialists.
