Job summary

TIMG NZ in Auckland Penrose is seeking an Operations Controller to oversee document management activities, lodgement, storage and retrieval, and lead a team to meet KPIs with a strong safety focus.

You will supervise 10+ staff, drive improvements in warehouse processes, maintain housekeeping, and manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders while ensuring compliance and a high standard of communication across the site.

Qualifications

• Exceptional experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Intermediate level or above
• Energetic, outgoing, organised, time management and multitasking skills
• Fit, healthy, and able to lift heavy loads when necessary
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written
• Drive improvements in warehouse processes and compliance
• Hold a Clean, Full NZ Driver's License
• 1–2+ years in a warehousing supervisor role

• Hold Health and Safety as a core value and contribute to a zero harm environment across the site
• Ensure warehouses and operational areas are well maintained and housekeeping is carried out

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Operations Controller will be required to provide operational and staff management associated with document management activities such as lodgement, storage, and retrieval of archived documents.

The key accountabilities of the role will include but are not limited to the following:

• Hold Health and Safety as a core value and contribute to the achievement of a zero harm and an incident/injury-free environment across the site
• Ensuring the warehouses and other operational areas are well maintained and all housekeeping is being carried out
• Supervise a team of 10+ staff, providing leadership and direction to ensure KPIs are met and exceeded
• Engage with direct reports to keep training of process and procedures up to date
• Efficient and effective handling of confidential material
• Manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

ABOUT YOU

You will be someone who leads by example and has the ability to get on with people from all walks of life.Someone who can take instructions, implement a daily/weekly work plan, and demonstrate professionalism with a can-do attitude.

• Exceptional experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Intermediate level or above
• You are an energetic, outgoing person who is organised, can manage your time well, and multitask effectively
• Applicants must be fit, healthy, and able to lift heavy loads when necessary
• Good communication skills - both verbal and written
• Drive improvements in warehouse processes and compliance
• Hold a Clean, Full NZ Driver's License
• At least 1-2 years or more working within a warehousing environment in a supervisor role
