Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is recruiting for an Operational Commissioning Lead in Palmerston North. You will drive commissioning, workforce transition and migration planning across the project lifecycle, aligning clinical input with infrastructure delivery.

You will work with clinical leaders, operational teams and national infrastructure to ensure safe, equitable and sustainable health services, reporting to governance groups and managing risks and dependencies.

Qualifications

• At least five years' senior leadership experience in clinical transformation or health infrastructure with large capital value.
• Strong knowledge of the NZ health sector and/or health design.
• A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in health leadership/management or healthcare administration.
• Project management certification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning, workforce transition and migration planning across the project lifecycle.
• Provide strategic advice and reporting to senior leaders and governance groups.
