Job summary

Aotearoa Infinite Academy is seeking a certificated English teacher to deliver online English to Years 9–13. You will design engaging learning experiences, foster strong relationships in a fully remote setting, and collaborate with a team of innovative educators.

Applicants should hold NZ teaching registration, English teaching qualification, and experience with IGCSE and NCEA curricula, plus comfort with ed-tech tools and online/blended learning models.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered NZ teacher with English teaching qualification.
• Strong knowledge of NCEA Levels 2–3.
• IGCSE teaching experience.
• Proficient with digital technology and online learning tools.

Aotearoa Infinite Academyis New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, pioneering accessible, world-class education for students in Years 9 to 13 across all of Aotearoa. We combine international (Pearson Edexcel pre-IGCSE and IGCSE) and national (NCEA Levels 2 and 3) curricula with a flexible, virtual learning model that prioritises wellbeing, belonging, and personalised support.

Teach engaging English through live virtual classrooms to Years 9 to 13 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2 to 3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.

What we're looking for

• New Zealand teaching registration.
• English teaching qualification and subject (chemistry) expertise.
• strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2 to 3).
