Job summary

Desktop Technology Services – Whangārei, North Island, Northland region is seeking an experienced IT Support Floorwalker. The role focuses on on-site user support, OS upgrades, and device management across NZ sites.

You will manage tickets, assist end users, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver timely resolutions. The position requires 2+ years in IT support and full eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
• Proficiency in Windows 10/11, InTune, Azure and Office 365.
• Excellent communication skills and proactive problem-solving.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate across regions.
• Eligible to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve tickets on the internal ticketing system.
• Be visible on the floor and provide end-user support.
• Install and upgrade OS on PCs and laptops using SCCM.
• Migrate user data from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
• Create and remove user accounts on SCCM Server.
• Push and upgrade software via Intune/SCCM tools.
• Upgrade hardware on PCs and laptops.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Service Desk as needed.
