Clarus Group in Wellington is seeking an Office Manager to support our General Managers and keep the office running smoothly for a team of about 40 people. The role is office-based and can be full-time, or 32 hours across four days with Friday off.
As culture champion, you’ll welcome new starters, coordinate events and ensure day-to-day operations run efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and a positive workplace environment.
Company Description
At Clarus Group, you’ll be part of the talented, hardworking team helping safely deliver the vital energy New Zealand needs to thrive today and in the future. Our operations span the length and breadth of Aotearoa, and we’re helping lay the foundations for a lower‑carbon energy future. We care about the communities where we live and work and are guided by inclusiveness, kaitiakitanga and excellence.
Are you someone who naturally brings people together, makes things happen and is always willing to give something a go?
As our Office Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our Wellington office, supporting our General Managers while being our go‑to person for keeping the office humming and our team of around 40 people connected.
Being present and available to our people is a big part of what makes this role successful, so it is office‑based. The role can be full‑time, or we’re happy to consider 32 hours across four days, with Friday as your non‑working day.
This is a hands‑on role with plenty of variety. You’ll support our three Wellington‑based GMs and their teams with diaries, meetings, travel, expenses and finance administration, while taking care of the day‑to‑day things that keep a busy office organised.
You’ll also be our culture champion, bringing people together, welcoming new starters, coordinating events and pitching in wherever needed. If you enjoy helping people, juggling different priorities and turning your hand to something new, you’ll fit right in.
You’ll be valued for who you are, rewarded for what you do and supported to thrive and develop in your career.
Along with a competitive salary, you’ll have a genuinely varied and interesting role where you can make a real difference to the everyday experience of our Wellington team. Our award‑winning wellness programme recognises you’re more than the job you do, with access to professional wellbeing services for you and your whānau. You’ll work in a safe and supportive environment, surrounded by great people who want to see you succeed.
Applications close 12 November 2026.
