Job summary

Mountain Warehouse is seeking a dedicated NZ Retail Stock Assistant for Albany on a permanent part-time basis. You will ensure stock is received, stored and presented with care, support daily deliveries, and keep shelves tidy for a great shopping experience.

You will engage with customers and help hit sales targets while upholding safety and store standards. Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.

As a Stock Associate, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the store remains well-stocked and organised for a seamless shopping experience. From receiving and replenishing deliveries to maintaining accurate inventory levels, you'll help keep the store running efficiently while upholding high standards of stock presentation, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Team Collaboration:

• Work harmoniously with your colleagues, fostering an inclusive and supportive team environment.

Operational Excellence:

• Receive and Process Deliveries Efficiently. Accept incoming shipments, check for accuracy, and ensure products are properly stocked and stored to maintain inventory integrity.
• Replenish Stock and Maintain Store Presentation. Regularly restock shelves and displays to ensure customers have access to a well-stocked and visually appealing store environment.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Store Standards. Conduct daily housekeeping tasks, including tidying shelves, maintaining fitting rooms, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the store to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Customer Engagement:

• Build strong connections with customers, engaging with them to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all.

Sales & Performance:

• Work with the team to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to a high-performing and motivated workplace.
