Job summary

Mountain Warehouse in Wanaka is seeking a Casual Sales Assistant who will help deliver an outstanding shopping experience. You will greet customers, uphold high presentation standards, and represent the brand with enthusiasm while prioritising health, safety, and wellbeing.

You will work with a friendly team, process transactions accurately, stay informed on promotions, and contribute to store success through excellent service and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
• Experience handling transactions and POS operations.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Team Collaboration:

• Help set up and execute in‑store promotions and displays to drive sales and enhance the shopping experience.

Customer Engagement:

• Build strong connections with customers, engaging with them to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience.
• Represent the Mountain Warehouse brand with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for all.

Sales & Performance:

• Work with the team to meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to a high‑performing and motivated workplace.
