Arotahi Tech, a growing New Zealand technology and business-services company, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive BPO and Agentic AI opportunities in NZ. You will leverage an existing network to open doors with NZ businesses and close new accounts, with uncapped commission and strong earning potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in B2B sales or business development.
• Experience selling BPO, outsourcing, or contact-centre solutions.
• Strong network of NZ business leaders.
• Proven ability to identify and close opportunities.
• Local market knowledge and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential NZ clients that could benefit from outsourcing or AI-enabled operations.
• Leverage your existing network and relationships to generate opportunities.
• Develop new business through referrals, networking, LinkedIn and direct outreach.
• Conduct discovery meetings and understand client operational requirements.
• Present BPO, contact centre and Agentic AI solutions.
• Develop proposals and negotiate commercial terms.
• Manage the sales pipeline from initial conversation through to signed agreement.
• Build long-term client relationships and generate referral opportunities.
• Work closely with our delivery team to ensure a smooth client onboarding process.
