Job summary

Frontline Recruitment is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to deliver remote ADHD follow-up care via virtual consultations. You will conduct 20-minute sessions reviewing treatment response and side effects, and manage prescription renewals within your scope.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to deliver remote consultations specialising in ADHD follow-up care and management.

This is an opportunity to work flexibly from anywhere, providing ongoing care to patients through virtual appointments. You will conduct focused 20-minute consultations, reviewing treatment response and side effects, managing prescription renewals within your scope of practice, and maintaining thorough clinical records.

This role would suit a Nurse Practitioner who is comfortable working in a digital-first environment, values clinical autonomy, and has a genuine interest in supporting patients with ADHD, we are looking for a minimum of 20-24 hours a week.

Clinical Environment & Workload

• Remote consultations specialising in ADHD follow-up care and management
• 20-minute appointment slots focused on treatment review, side-effect monitoring, and prescription renewal
• Flexible working arrangement with a high degree of clinical autonomy in a virtual setting

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct remote Nurse Practitioner consultations focused on ADHD follow-up and ongoing management
• Review patient response to treatment and monitor for side effects
• Manage prescription renewals within your scope of practice and relevant clinical requirements
• Provide ongoing patient education, support and monitoring
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation
• Provide safe, patient-centred care within a virtual consultation environment

About You

• Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
• Knowledge and experience in ADHD assessment, treatment and medication management ADVANTAGEOUS but not ESSENTIAL
• Ability to prescribe and manage medications within your authorised scope of practice
• Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth platforms
• Strong clinical documentation skills and ability to maintain accurate patient records
• Additional training in ADHD
