Job summary

ExtraStaff is seeking experienced Class 5 Truck & Trailer Drivers for an immediate start in Christchurch, working night shifts between quarries and customer sites. You will transport aggregate and quarry materials across Canterbury with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Successful applicants will have a Full Class 5 License, proven truck & trailer experience, and the ability to operate Road Ranger gearboxes in busy quarry environments. NZ residency or valid NZ work rights required.

Qualifications

• Must have Full Class 5 License.
• Proven Truck & Trailer experience.
• Experience operating Road Ranger gearboxes.
• Ability to jackknife trailers confidently.
• Strong reversing skills, including maneuvering into tight spaces.
• Experience carting aggregate, quarry materials, or bulk products preferred.
• Reliable transport and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and follow site procedures.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
