Job summary

Pullman Auckland is seeking an experienced Night Manager to lead overnight operations, oversee guest experiences, and manage the night audit process. As the senior on duty, you will ensure security, smooth operations and high service standards.

You will collaborate with Housekeeping, Reservations, Finance and Engineering, respond to guest inquiries, handle escalations, and drive revenue integrity while maintaining a calm, professional presence during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Night Manager or senior Front Office leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and guest service.
• Experience with hotel PMS systems (Opera experience highly regarded).
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Office.
• Managers and First Aid Certificate preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Front Office and Night team during overnight operations.
• Ensure the smooth running of the hotel while acting as the Manager on Duty.
• Complete and oversee the nightly audit and revenue reconciliation processes.
• Handle guest enquiries, requests, and escalations professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain the safety and security of guests, team members, and property.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies and incidents when required.
• Drive exceptional guest satisfaction and uphold service standards.
• Work closely with key departments including Housekeeping, Reservations, Finance, Engineering, and Revenue Management.
