Job summary

Novotel Wellington seeks a Night Auditor to join the Front Office team on a full-time permanent basis.

You will greet guests, handle check-ins/outs, balance transactions, and prepare reports, working across nights, weekends and public holidays.

Requires LCQ qualification and DM Certificate or ability to obtain one, Opera Cloud and Excel experience preferred; must have NZ work authorization.

Qualifications

• Take initiative and remain calm under pressure.
• Available to work overnight shifts from 11.00pm and on a rotating roster.
• Hold an LCQ qualification.
• A current DM Certificate is essential, or the ability to obtain one (requires LCQ plus 3 months' supervisory experience in a licensed premises in NZ).
• Previous experience in Front Office operations at a supervisory level.
• Proficiency in Excel and Opera Cloud PMS (experience preferred).
• A current First Aid Certificate is an advantage.
• A full, clean New Zealand driver licence
• Must be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or hold a current valid work visa/permit. (Visa sponsorship not available).

• Welcoming guests and delivering outstanding customer service.
• Managing check-ins and check-outs with confidence and professionalism.
• Completing night audit procedures and balancing daily transactions.
• Preparing reports and ensuring financial accuracy.
• Responding to guest requests and resolving issues with care and efficiency.
• Maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment throughout the night.
• Supporting the wider Front Office team and hotel operations.
