Job summary

HEB Construction in Auckland is seeking a Network Asset Inspector to inspect the transport network, identify defects and monitor maintenance works. You will perform day and night inspections and collaborate with the Asset Performance and Delivery Excellence teams to ensure assets meet required service levels.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of road construction and/or road maintenance.
• Strong IT and data management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach.
• Full Class 1 Driver Licence.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous.
• RAMM or AWM knowledge is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct network safety and condition inspections.
• Identify, record and report defects and risks.
• Monitor maintenance and repair works to ensure quality outcomes.
• Audit contractor and subcontractor works for compliance.
• Maintain accurate asset data to support network performance and maintenance planning.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors and operational teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
