Orion Group in Christchurch seeks an experienced electricity industry professional to lead our Network Access & Training function. You will coach a specialist team and ensure access procedures, training and competency frameworks are current and compliant.

You will collaborate with engineering, network operations and QHS, support the Industries Common Competency Framework, and build relationships with EDB peers to maintain consistency across the network.

Formación

• Significant technical experience in the electricity industry (distribution or transmission)
• Proven leadership experience with coaching and developing a technically capable team
• Strong knowledge of electrical health and safety, network access requirements and operating standards
• Credibility to influence field teams, contractors, specialists and senior leaders

Responsabilidades

• Lead, coach and develop a specialist Network Access & Training team
• Oversee network access procedures, operating standards and competency frameworks
• Develop and deliver training, assessment and coaching programmes reflecting industry requirements
• Collaborate with engineering, network operations and QHS to identify competency needs and risks
• Drive Orion's implementation of the Industries Common Competency Framework (CCF) and support contractor transitions
• Build relationships with EDB peers to maintain consistency with the CCF and drive continuous improvement
