Job summary

Hunter Campbell is seeking a senior national Sales Director in New Zealand to spearhead new business growth across government, health, councils and corporate sectors. The role centers on hunting rather than account management and will establish the sales culture from a standing start.

You will report to the General Manager, sit on the executive team, and shape strategy with autonomy. The base salary ranges NZ$170k–$190k with a company vehicle, KiwiSaver, and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Proven new business hunter with a track record of winning significant B2B contracts.
• Sales leadership experience; you lead from the front and lift a team.
• Executive presence and credibility at leadership team level.
• Strong pipeline and CRM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Drive new business across government, health, councils and corporate sectors.
• Build and deliver a national sales plan with clear targets.
• Lead and coach a sales team spread across New Zealand.
• Define the sales culture, rhythm and reporting from scratch.
• Take new products to market and build pipeline from zero.
• Own pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline.
• Contribute to executive team strategy and commercial decisions.
• Build senior relationships with key decision makers and procurement teams.
