Job summary

New Zealand Post Group is seeking an experienced National Fleet Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership over a nationwide fleet portfolio. You will ensure assets are safe, compliant and cost-effective while aligning with operational objectives.

Reporting to the GM Delivery Partner & Fleet Operations, the role drives fleet strategy, lifecycle management, optimisation programs and sustainability initiatives across a large, complex organisation in New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in fleet management within a large, complex organisation.
• Strong expertise in fleet operations, asset lifecycle management and fleet optimisation.
• Commercially astute with experience in capital planning, business cases and lifecycle cost management.
• Proven success delivering continuous improvement or optimisation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior leadership level.
• Analytical capability with proficiency in data reporting tools like Excel and Power BI.

National Fleet Manager - 9 Month Fixed Term Contract

• Can be based in Auckland (East Tamaki) or Christchurch.
• Lead the future of one of New Zealand's largest and most diverse fleet operations.
• Fixed Term role for 9 months.

We're seeking an experienced National Fleet Manager to join us to provide strategic and operational leadership across a large fleet portfolio, ensuring assets are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and aligned to operational and business objectives. Reporting to the GM Delivery Partner & Fleet Operations, you'll drive fleet strategy, asset lifecycle management, optimisation programmes, sustainability initiatives, and continuous improvement across a nationwide operation.
