Job summary

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is seeking a Contract Manager – Professional Services for a six-month internal secondment to cover parental leave. You will manage a portfolio of professional services contracts, coordinate with regional teams, and ensure compliant processes across the motu.

Qualifications

• Experience administering professional services contracts.
• Strong reading and application of contract documents and processes.
• Clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer professional services contracts under Consultancy Contract Conditions.
• Prepare contractual notices, service orders and variations.
• Coordinate with NZTA teams to understand programmes and resource requirements.
• Maintain audit-ready contract records and monthly cost/risk reporting.
• Identify and mitigate procurement and delivery risks.
