Job summary

Sanford Limited is seeking a reliable Yard Worker in Havelock to support mussel farming operations. You will handle yard, production and equipment tasks, ensuring safe and efficient work practices on site.

Key responsibilities include operating machinery safely, producing and stocking materials, documenting production, and assisting team members as needed. Candidates should be physically capable and committed to safety, with aquaculture or farming experience preferred.

• Experience in production, aquaculture, farming or marine environments preferred but not essential.
• Machinery, vessel or forklift experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, tools and equipment safely.
• Complete rope, tubing, float and stocking production.
• Complete production and stock documentation.
• Prepare and deliver vessel orders.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Report faults, breakdowns and hazards.
• Support and assist other team members when required.
• Assist with other mussel farming activities as needed.
