Job summary

Pacific Radiology Wellington is seeking applications for an MRT to maintain the continuity and quality of radiology services across the Kapiti and Porirua branches, and to support service delivery across the wider region.

This is a permanent part-time role, 32 hours per week. The successful candidate will perform imaging procedures, supervise staff and contribute to quality improvement through training and the implementation of new imaging techniques.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB) in New Zealand and hold a current APC.
• Demonstrated expertise in advanced medical imaging techniques and best-practice imaging standards.
• Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills with a commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of imaging procedures with high independent clinical judgement.
• Supervise staff and students, provide coaching and internal training.
• Contribute to quality assurance, policy development and adoption of new imaging technologies.
