Qualifications

Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT)

As an MRT, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic X-ray imaging services ensuring patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality. You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care within our busy healthcare facility.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures.
• Apply ALARA principles to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.
• Ensure imaging procedures are performed safely and efficiently.
• Assist with clerical and quality assurance tasks to keep the department running efficiently.

What You’ll Bring:

• A Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Imaging Technology (or equivalent).
• Registration with the Medical Radiation Technologist Board and a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC).
• Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
• Experience with relevant radiology systems.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
