Job summary

New Zealand Defence Force seeks an experienced MROR specialist to lead maintenance, repair, and overhaul support for Army capabilities. You will shape doctrine, policy, and systems while ensuring compliance and readiness across operations and training environments.

You will provide strategic guidance, stakeholder engagement, and drive continuous improvement to optimise MROR processes and efficiency within NZDF. Strong leadership and governance experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' MROR experience in relevant environments.
• Contract and financial management expertise.
• Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Defence Force and its operational environment.
• Operational logistics experience desirable.
• Engineering qualification desirable.
• Membership of a recognised professional engineering institution desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop MROR doctrine, policy, systems and procedures for MROR in the Army and Land environments.
• Provide strategic leadership and specialist advice to ensure maintenance support and operational readiness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise MROR systems, processes and procedures.
