Job summary

New Zealand Defence Force seeks an experienced MROR SME to lead maintenance, repair and overhaul support for Army capabilities. You will shape MROR doctrine, policy, and systems, providing strategic guidance and ensuring compliance across operational and training environments.

You will drive continuous improvement of MROR processes, engage stakeholders, and lead through-life management of assets, equipment acquisition, and sustainment.

Qualifications

• MROR experience in defence logistics.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of NZDF operations, logistics, and finance.
• Proficient with MS Office; SAP desirable.
• Contract and financial management experience.
• Project management knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MROR doctrine, policy, systems and procedures.
• Provide strategic leadership and specialist advice for maintenance support and readiness.
• Ensure governance, compliance and through-life management across Army capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement of MROR systems, processes and procedures.
