Job summary

Green by Nature AU is seeking a Mower Operator to join the Taumarunui team. You will perform mowing, weed eating, and general parks and grounds maintenance, with on‑the‑job training provided as needed.

You will help keep our local spaces looking well presented and be a valued part of a 30+ year industry leader. The role invites applicants who enjoy outdoor work, have a driving license (manual preferred), basic computer skills, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Full, current driver license with the ability to drive a manual.
• Comfort working outdoors and taking pride in a job well done.
• Basic computer skills are beneficial.
• Commitment to health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Mowing and weed eating as part of parks and grounds maintenance.
• Basic mechanical maintenance of the mower and related plant.
• Ensure grounds are well presented and maintained.
• Be a valued team member contributing to the local community.

Job description

We currently havea vacancy for a Mower Operator to join our high performingRuapehu (Taumaranui) team.

What does a mower operator do you ask?

You will be responsible for general parks and grounds maintenance with activities including (and we will train you if you're not an expert), mowing, weed eating, basic mechanical maintenance of plant and ensuring that the grounds always look well presented. This is a varied, physical role upkeeping our local community, where you will be a highly valued member of the team!

Who we are looking for:

Not only will you be reliable and motivated, but you will also have:

• A full, current driver license with the ability to drive a manual - even better if you have a class 2 license.
• Enjoy working outside and get great satisfaction from a job well done!
• Basic computer skills will be beneficial.
