Job summary

Green by Nature in Queenstown is seeking a Mower Operator to join our outdoor maintenance team. You will handle mowing, weed eating, and basic care of equipment, helping keep local grounds well presented.

We value reliable, motivated individuals with a positive attitude and a commitment to safety. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for development within the team and wider company.

Qualifications

• Full, current NZ driver license required.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission preferred.
• Enjoy outdoor work with good physical fitness.
• Basic computer skills are beneficial.
• Commitment to health & safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Mow and weed eat, keep grounds neat and well presented.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance of your equipment.
• Assist with general parks and grounds maintenance on a day-to-day basis.
• Support the team and follow safety practices in all tasks.

If you enjoy working outdoors, possess an awesome work ethic and have your full NZ drivers' licence, then this role would suit you! We currently have a vacancy for a Mower Operator to join our high-performing Queenstown team.

What does a mower operator do you ask?

You will be responsible for general parks and grounds maintenance with activities including (and we will train you if you're not an expert), mowing, weed eating, basic mechanical maintenance of plant and ensuring that the grounds always look well presented. This is a varied, physical role upkeeping our local community, where you will be a highly valued member of the team!

Who We Are Looking For

Not only will you be reliable and motivated, but you will also have:

• A full, current driver license with the ability to drive a manual - even better if you have a class 2 license.
• Enjoy working outside and get great satisfaction from a job well done!
• Basic computer skills will be beneficial.
• A commitment to upholding our company's Health and Safety policies.
• A positive, can-do attitude, that shows a willingness to learn and grow.
