Job summary

Cardrona Alpine Resort is seeking a friendly Cafe Assistant to support our on-mountain cafés and restaurants. You will deliver excellent guest service, prepare and serve food and beverages, handle cash at POS, and keep outlets clean and inviting.

This part-time role (4 days per week) includes flexibility for late-night Friday sessions, contributing to a vibrant mountain atmosphere for guests and team alike.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, hospitality, or café experience.
• Cash handling and point-of-sale experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly, approachable, and professional manner.
• Excellent attention to detail and presentation standards.
• The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• As a Cafe Assistant, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of our on-mountain cafés and restaurants.
• You'll provide outstanding customer service, prepare and serve food and beverages, operate point-of-sale systems, and help maintain clean, organised, and welcoming outlets.
• This is a fast-paced role that requires a positive attitude, great communication skills, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• You'll be interacting with guests from around the world, helping ensure every visit to Cardrona is one to remember.
