Job summary

Bloom’s Pretzels in Mt Roskill, Auckland, is hiring a Commercial Bakery Assistant for a focused four-hour shift from 7:30am–11:30am, Monday to Friday. You’ll be hands-on in our pretzel production, rolling dough, weighing ingredients and helping with batches for wholesale, retail and markets.

No prior bakery experience is required as full training is provided; we’re looking for someone reliable, eager to learn and comfortable working on their feet in a small team.

Qualifications

• No bakery degree or specific certificates required.
• Reliable, eager to learn and take direction.
• Comfortable with hands-on, physical work.

Responsibilities

• Rolling and portioning dough.
• Weighing and preparing ingredients for production.
• Assisting with dough preparation and general production.
• Lifting and handling flour bags and ingredients up to 20kg.
• Preparing workstations and ingredients for the team.
• Packing and other production tasks as required.
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and food-safe.
