The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining or Mechanical Engineering with a ventilation focus, 6+ years of experience, and proficiency in Ventsim or VentGraph. Remote collaboration skills are essential.

You will analyze airflow, dust levels, and gas concentrations, developing strategies to manage environmental conditions and optimize energy usage for ventilation infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mine environmental engineering, possess excellent analytical skills, and thrive in a remote work setting, collaborating with site-based teams to maintain optimal underground conditions, ensuring the well-being of all personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimize mine ventilation networks to provide adequate airflow and control contaminants.
• Conduct surveys and modeling of airflow, temperature, humidity, and gas concentrations within the mine.
• Develop strategies for managing dust, heat, and other environmental hazards to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Select and specify ventilation equipment, including fans, ducting, and auxiliary ventilation systems.
