Job summary

Salt is seeking a hands-on Full Stack .NET Developer to join our client’s IT team in Auckland, driving enhancements across core systems. This permanent, hybrid role offers a small, collaborative environment with a clear impact on product delivery.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in commercial development using C# .NET, strong Microsoft tech experience, and front-end skills with Vue.js/Angular/Blazor or Umbraco. NZ work visa is required for all positions.

Qualifications

• Not a job hopper; long-term commitment.
• Experience with .NET, C#, Azure, SQL Server, CI/CD & testing.
• Front-end experience with Vue.js, Angular, Blazor or Umbraco integration.
• Based in Auckland or willing to relocate; 3 days in office.

The role:

We are on the lookout for a hands‑on Full Stack .NET Developer to join our client’s IT team and help drive ongoing enhancements across their core systems.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience (minimum 10yrs) in commercial development as a backend/fullstack developer at a Senior level using C# . NET (Non-negotiable).
• Should not be a job hopper , need someone who has been in companies for a decent time given the client is looking at long term hiring. (Non negotiable)
• Experience with Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, Azure, SQL Server) & CICD & Testing.
• Front‑end experience with Vue.js, Angular.js, Blazor and/or Umbraco integration
• Should be based in Auckland or be able to relocate to Auckland (3 days from office – Tuesdays to Thursdays).
• To be able to adapt, team fit in terms of being approachable, be a part of team activities and add value to discussions over technical issues.
• Pls note: A valid NZ work visa is a pre‑requisite for all our positions as of now. In case any client is willing to sponsor an outstation international candidate, we would mention that separately.
