Job summary

Genesis Energy is seeking Metering Specialists in Auckland to support day-to-day metering activities for Robotron-serviced customers. You will coordinate end-to-end meter work, ensure accurate data entry, and keep customers informed while maintaining compliance and risk requirements.

The role involves liaising with electricians, field teams and contractors, plus contributing to continuous improvement and performance reporting. A customer-first mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing front or back-office role is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask across teams and providers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end metering installations, replacements, removals, and fault resolution.
• Create, update, and track metering jobs in internal systems with accurate data entry.
• Review and process metering paperwork for completeness and compliance.
• Liaise with electricians, field teams, network providers, and contractors to meet service levels.
• Provide clear customer updates via email and phone and resolve queries professionally.
• Monitor trends to identify process improvements and enhance the customer experience.
