Job summary

Wells in Auckland is recruiting Metering Technicians to carry metering maintenance and deployment of smart meters across the region. You will perform electrical work with a focus on safety, data accuracy, and customer service, and be prepared to travel to various sites.

A full NZ driver's license is required, and eligibility for NZ electrical registration is preferred. Typically 40–45 hour weeks with competitive hourly pay, varying from $29.70 to $36.00 per hour, and a provided work vehicle.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess prior experience and competencies for carrying out electrical work.
• NZ Electrical registration or overseas registration with NZ practical experience is considered.
• Metering experience in any capacity will be assessed.

Responsibilities

• Carry metering maintenance to existing assets and deployment of smart meters.
• Work across the Auckland region with focus on safety and data accuracy.
• Travel to various locations within the region and operate handheld data recording devices.
