We are looking for an experienced administrator to provide a high level of administration support to ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act (1992) and other related legislation. You will ensure all documentation and court-related processes are accurate, timely and legally compliant while working closely with clinicians, Courts, District Inspectors and under the broader direction of the Director of Area Mental Health Services.
The Mental Health Act Administrator role forms part of a small team that falls under the DAMHS function (Director of Mental Health Services) within Kāhui o te Ihi/Mental Health Services and is responsible for all of Te Toka Tumai Auckland. The role is based at Te Whetu Tawera, Adult Inpatient Unit at Auckland city Hospital Campus.
