Job summary

MASH Trust in Palmerston North is seeking a part-time Medication Support Worker to assist people across Palmerston North and Foxton with their medication routines. You'll follow individual plans, maintain records and daily notes, and report issues.

Position: Part-time working 31 hours per fortnight.

This permanent part-time position is based in Palmerston North and supports people across both Palmerston North and Foxton

As a Medication Support Worker, you will support people in the community to take the correct medication at the correct time, as prescribed by their healthcare provider. You will follow individual medication support plans, maintain accurate medication records and daily notes, and report any health, medication or environmental concerns.

You will also provide emotional support, advocacy, education and encouragement to support people’s overall health and wellbeing.

Hours of Work

• Week 1: Monday 5pm–9pm; Tuesday 7pm–9pm; Saturday and Sunday 8am–11.30am and 5pm–9pm.
• Week 2: Monday 5pm–9pm; Tuesday 7pm–9pm; Saturday and Sunday 7pm–9pm.
